Level 6
Final Project - EP’s
Teaching Team: Stephen Good, Charles Reeves & Elaine Thomazi-Freitas
This final major project allows students to develop all the skills and practices developed in their time at University, working on composing, producing, mixing and mastering a 6 track EP to a professional standard. The aim of this project is not just to assess the students knowledge and learning, but to also produce a piece of work that showcases their skills and acts as a calling card after graduation.
During the year the students were introduced to new concepts in project management, studio practice and live sound and streaming in a 7-week workshop, culminating in an EP consisting of a range of tracks which demonstrated their production skills and signature sounds.

The students undertook individual inquiry into a topic of their own choice and based on this inquiry, developed an extended critical or investigative study.
The students chose a range of cultural and technological subjects, extending their inquiry into their main field of study.
